Kernel
|
The kernel is the main part or core of an
operating system. It handles the most basic and important chores such as
starting programs and managing files, memory and system resources.

Key
|
A key could refer to any one of the number,
letter or symbol characters on your keyboard. It could also refer to a code
used to unlock an encoded file or message. A key is sometimes supplied with a
computer that locks out keyboard access. Also, in the system Registry in
Win9x, the different sections are called Keys.

Keyboard
|
The most important input device. Keyboards are
used to type commands, data, and other information into your computers memory
for processing.

Kilobyte
|
A kilobyte (K or Kb) is equal to 1024 bytes. 1024
Kilobytes is equal to 1Megabyte.
